I am a sophomore leveled student double majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications and Sports and Recreation Management at the University of Iowa. My passion stems from my ability to lead and passion to serve. I aim to make valuable decisions that shape the community around me and inspire my peers. I have always been ambitious in all aspects of my life, and my dedication to work and improve is nothing short of that.

My anticipated work and field of study will consist primarily of sports and athletics. I have always had a great interest in sports and my Digital Strategy and Social Media Internship with UI Athletics has grown this dream of mine. I have loved working directly in my dream field and my multimedia skills have enhanced this experience. I have learned how to adapt to the ever-changing world of sports and pivot when times are not perfect. This internship has taught me how to use a wide variety of platforms to create the content I produce today.

Over the 2025 spring semester, I earned myself the Marketing Chair position for UI Dance Marathon. This has taught me a variety of skills, but most importantly, the necessary requirements to create great branding and framing for an audience. This is something I hope to demonstrate throughout my work as creating a strong personal image is crucial for future employment.
